Day 48 15th September Busselton

DAY 48

15th September
Busselton Margaret River

We went exploring today around the Margaret River area. There is a big loop you can follow. As everyone is interested in different things we split up after going to the bottom to Augusta to the Cape Leeuwin light house. (We have seen lots of lighthouses!)

After we left we stopped at an old water wheel.

Waterwheel covered in calcium
Headed up the headland and we went to a cheese factory, a silk farm, a dried fruit farm and an olive and soap farm. There are hundreds of wineries here you could spend months visiting different places. The country side is lovely. Rich green grass, lovely black and white cows. In Cowarumup there were statues of cows everywhere.

We went to a beautiful place called Hamelin Bay and id the boardwalk and saw beautiful blue water and crystal clear.
