Day 35 2nd September Yardie Creek to Carnarvon

DAY 35

2nd September

Yardie Creek to Carnarvon

Happy Fathers' Day!!!!

Left early as we had things to see on the way. Stopped at Pebble Beach very cold, nothing specialjust a beach with pebbles everywhere.

                                                                       Pebble Beach

Took the  next turn to Charles Knife Canyon and Thomas Carter Lookout, followed a windy dirt road for a few kms and came to some spectacular scenery of gorges in Cape Range National Park.
Continued on to Coral Bay for morning tea.

Very busy and commercialised area of Ningaloo Reef not nearly as nice as Exmouth. Found a great bakery and all had a pie and cappucino, what a treat!!!
Along the road there is a carpet of purple wildflowers they look great against the red soil.
Before going into Carnarvon we turned towards Quobba and went to the blowholes. Great day for it with a 4m swell. They were really blowing!

Headed on down the highway to Carnarvon. Pulled in to Coral Coast Caravan Park fantastic amenities best we have had.
