Millstream Chichester National Park
Wendy was not very well last night with asthma so Paul has taken her to hospital and while they are there they are going to try to get us an extra night in Roebourne to get out of this camp ground. We got the phone call that it was OK to come early. We had a couple of other things to see in this park so all packed up and headed to Python Pool and Mt Herbert. Did the walks to Python Pool, couldn't swim as they have a blue green algae problem at the moment. Saw a few little geckoe lizards sunning themselves.
Hard to spot geckoe |
We booked in to the caravan park and headed to Point Samson for lunch. Went to the only cafe near the water and had fish and chips absolutely beautiful. Great to see the ocean again instead of red dust.
Had a paddle in the ocean lovely and warm collected acouple of shells nothing spectacular but just to say they were from WA. On the way back to Roebourne westopped at Cossack which is an old pearl town and the buildings have been preserved into a heritage town. The buildings are built out of the iron stone from the area.
