DAY 2

 Mendoorah to Comeroo

Woke to -3 degrees and everything covered in ice this morning. Travelled to Nyngan for morning tea and then on to Bourke for lunch near the river. There is still a lot of water lying around from the floods. We managed to dodge emus, kangaroos, goats, cattle, sheep and rabbits that have run in front of the car so far. First dirt roads, had to let tyres down for the corrugations. We pulled in to camel homestead for the night. Had a home cooked country baked dinner with the station owners. Yum!
